Common App Questions
The app is not loading correctly
Close the app completely and reopen it. You may also need to confirm that your device has an active internet connection.
If the issue continues, check the App Store to make sure you are using the latest version of Kansas Roots & Roads.
An event is missing or incorrect
Event information may be submitted or updated by participating communities and organizations. To report missing or incorrect event information, email us with:
- Event name
- Event date and time
- Event location
- Corrected information
- A link or contact person who can verify the details
A business listing is incorrect
Please contact us if a business listing includes an incorrect address, phone number, website, business category, hours, photo, or description.
Include the business name and the information that needs to be corrected.
How do I submit an event or business?
Events, businesses, attractions, and community information may be submitted for consideration through the Kansas Roots & Roads website Events Page or by contacting our team directly.
Submitting information does not guarantee publication. Listings may be reviewed for accuracy, relevance, and regional availability.
The magazine is not opening
Kansas Roots & Roads digital magazines are hosted through an external publication viewer because each issue contains a large number of high-resolution pages.
Confirm that your device is connected to the internet. If the publication still does not open, close the viewer and try again.
An article is not displaying correctly
Articles are updated through the Kansas Roots & Roads news feed. Occasionally, an article may take additional time to load or update.
Close and reopen the article or app. Contact support if the issue continues.
Maps or directions are not working
Confirm that location services are enabled for your device and that your preferred map application is installed.
You may still browse towns, businesses, events, and attractions without enabling location access.
Notifications are not appearing
Open your device settings and confirm that notifications are enabled for Kansas Roots & Roads.
Notification availability may also depend on your device settings, internet connection, and the types of regional updates currently available.
